Guided Tour Interpreter

Interpreting with tour guide equipment is in fact simultaneous interpreting.

The equipment comes in a small case which contains a microphone for the interpreter, transmitters, and headphones for the participants.

The interpreter speaks into the microphone. The transmitters relay the translation to the headphones.

This method of interpreting allows for moving from one place to the next during meetings (guided tours).

Can also be used in meetings:
– when a room does not allow for setting up booths (lack of space),
– when an event includes moving around.
